WHO WE ARE

CARE OF LORD

EST. 2019

CARE OF LORD is a menswear brand dedicated to functional business and everyday wear.

Guided by four design principles — simplicity, functionality, attention to detail, and care — we create quality garments for men navigating work, travel, and everyday life.

Our Philosophy
Comfortable Organized Life

Our founder has always valued order, thoughtful design, and lasting quality.

His appreciation for architecture and industrial design, particularly the works of Le Corbusier and Dieter Rams, has deeply influenced his approach to design.

Our Approach to Design

Simplicity. Function. Detail. Care.

01 — Simplicity in Design

Manchester Collared Jacket | 766307

We don't believe simplicity should come at the expense of functionality. The two should work naturally together.

Technical outerwear often emphasizes its functionality through exposed pockets, zippers, and visible design elements. We wanted to take a different approach — preserving the clean, timeless appearance of a classic jacket while keeping its practical features.

For our Manchester Collared Jacket, we developed convertible magnetic-snap pockets that can change their appearance depending on how they are worn.

It's a small design decision, but one that allows the jacket to move naturally between a refined look and everyday practicality, without compromising either.

02 — Function Comes First

Poseidon LT Hooded Down Jacket | 962102

To make a jacket lighter, we didn't simply remove materials. We reconsidered the fabric and construction from the ground up.

The original Poseidon was designed to deliver exceptional protection, combining waterproof performance, warmth, and machine washability.
But we wanted the next generation to feel lighter and more comfortable for everyday city life, without sacrificing the protection that made the original so dependable.

We spent more than a year reworking its fabric and construction, moving from a three-layer fabric to a two-layer structure. This reduced weight while maintaining the same level of resistance to down leakage.

To preserve warmth, we also refined the fit with three-dimensional tailoring, creating a silhouette that follows the body more naturally and helps keep cold air out.

The zipper system was redesigned as well, bringing together lightweight comfort, refined texture, protection, and a more considered silhouette.

The result is not simply a lighter version of the original. It's a different approach to achieving the same purpose.

03 — No Compromise on Details

Puffin Extreme Cold Down Parka | 962901 Coming Soon

We believe real warmth isn't just about adding more goose down. It's about paying attention to every small opening where cold air might find its way in.

When designing our Puffin Parka, we focused on the details that are easy to overlook but make a real difference in winter.

Soft flocked fabric lines the inside of the collar and pockets, reducing direct contact between cold outer materials and the skin.

An adjustable NIFCO® drawcord allows the hood to fit more securely in windy or snowy conditions, while concealed ribbed cuffs help keep cold air out.

For the longer silhouette, we customized a larger YKK® two-way zipper, making it easier to adjust the opening at the hem and move freely with longer strides.

Each detail serves a purpose. Together, they make the jacket feel more comfortable, protective, and natural to wear.

04 — Designed with Care

Puffin LT Down Jacket | 965213 Coming Soon

When customers told us one of our down jackets felt too heavy, we didn't simply reduce the amount of goose down. We went back and reconsidered the entire garment.

Our original Puffin became a favorite for its exceptional warmth. But we also heard from customers who wanted something lighter and less bulky for everyday wear.

Working with TORAY, we developed a new textured fabric with a subtle crinkled finish, while also refining the jacket's construction and silhouette.
The result was an overall weight reduction of approximately 30%, while retaining the warmth needed for its intended use.

We weren't trying to create a thinner jacket for the sake of it. We wanted to offer a better balance between warmth and lightness, shaped by the people who actually wear our clothes.
