Taking a Break. Life Goes On.

With Yan Wuqian, toward the person we have yet to become.

“Stay in the same rhythm long enough, and you begin looking forward to the person you have yet to become... So I set off.
Hello again. Let me reintroduce myself. I’m Yan Wuqian.”

Familiar Melodies, His Own Voice

Singing is part of Yan Wuqian’s everyday life.
By day, he livestreams performances from his room. By night, he sings at bars.

Many know him through his covers. Familiar melodies take on a different expression through his voice.

Yet he keeps asking himself: How can he bring something of his own to someone else’s song—something listeners will remember?

How to sing, and how to define himself: he is still searching.

There’s More to Everyday Life

When we settle into a routine, are we still willing to try something new?

Work gives our days a rhythm. It also gets us used to introducing ourselves through our jobs and roles. Taking a different route, encountering something unfamiliar, or returning to something we once loved can all help us get to know ourselves a little better.

At CARE OF LORD, our idea of “comfort in order” leaves room for these possibilities. We want our clothes to fit into everyday life and come along for its spontaneous moments, allowing the wearer to move comfortably toward wherever they want to go.

Allow Yourself to Keep Becoming

“Hello again. Let me reintroduce myself. I’m Yan Wuqian.”

What we like about those words is the chance to start again. Many people may already know him, but he’s still finding his own voice and figuring out who he wants to be.

That is why we wanted to share this story. Some answers about who we are take shape through living. Every time we try something or go through a new experience, we learn a little more about ourselves—even when we haven’t found the answers yet.

Everything you experienced counts, they all become you at the end.
